CornerLock Joiner routs out specially shaped slots in the end of each pair of mitred mouldings or strether bars, from 13mm / ½" up to 89mm / 3 ½" wide.

They are joined by simply pressing in the appropriate size of CornerLock wedge. This unique process is ideal for joining harder wood mouldings, such as Ash. It is also great when you want to offer customers the facility to join frames themselves without tools or equipment. Ideal for retail or mail-order hobby frame kits.

You mitre the mouldings, then clamp them on edge into the 4000. The work table swings side-to-side under the fixed router head. This creates a slightly tapered slot which helps the CornerLock wedge pull the mouldings tightly together. Quick indexing adjustments allow you to rout slots to join 4, 5, 6 and 8 sided frames. Measuring stops enable you to match the depth of the slot with the three sizes of CornerLock wedges.

Fitted with a nozzle to connect to a vacuum cleaner, for dust-free working. The FT-4000 is only available in 110v, so must be run from a 240v / 110v transformer. These are readily available.

Supplied as standard with steel router bit. Choose tungsten carbide router bit for longer life in harder wood.
