ROLLATAQ Glue Applicators.

These machines apply a very thin coating, so your glue cost is low. The coated print is laid onto the backing and bonded using a hand brayer roller or a roller system.

You should use the special glues, which are re-positionable for a few minutes and have a formulation which minimises skinning. You can leave them in the machines for a few days without everything congealing. We do advise that you clean up at least weekly.

The powered rollers pick up glue from the tray and a blade scrapes it to a pre-set coating thickness. The print is passed through and then carefully laid onto the mounting board. The plastic air-tight cover keeps out dust - the enemy of mounting. Designed for low and medium volume use.

Electric pressure systems (Part No's. 4988 & 4989) have rollers of cast iron and rubber coated aluminium.

MOUNTMASTER Glue Applicators.

This is the business. Solidly built with a stainless steel chassis and glue tray. The big solid stainless steel rollers are precision ground and run in phosphor bronze bearings. The motor is an intrinsically safe 12v DC, from a remote 240v transformer.

The glue thickness is easily adjustable with twin thumb wheels and the feed speed is variable.

Designed for production use. To avoid dust getting to the glue, always work in a clean area and lay a cover over the machine when not in use. CE approved. Made in UK.
