The MP is an advanced underpinner from Alfamacchine, the long established Italian manufacturer of quality framing equipment.

The special programmable software allows the operator, for each moulding in your range, to record:
• Position of wedge, up to 9 positions
• Number of wedges inserted in each position
• Speed of wedge insertion
• Size of wedge required
So, when the operator starts with a fresh moulding, they just key in the number, or read a barcode, and the machine automatically makes itself ready. The operator simply has to load the size of wedge indicated (changing the wedge block if necessary) and adjust the top pressure and rebate clamp positions.

Minigraf MP comes complete on stand and with filter / lube / regulator unit.
The optional double top pressure head helps secure wider and more complex moulding profiles.
The MP offers consistent join quality combined with very speedy set-up and operation, all at a very competitive price.

ALFA MINIGRAF 4 UNDERPINNER - AIR 3 Ptn 125mm

On the pneumatic Minigraf 4, the moulding is located in back fences fixed to the table of the machine. The whole wedge magazine insertion mechanism is located on the underside, and moves by air operation, between hand-adjustable stops. Twin draw-down air cylinders make the Minigraf 4 very strong and twist resistant. It's ideal for harder wood. Suitable for bespoke and medium volume framers.

With the moulding in place, up to three wedge insertion positions can be quickly set.
Light pressure on the foot switch causes the top pressure pad (with magnetic face to carry circular or L-shaped steel blocks with hard felt pads) and rebate clamp to operate. Further pressure inserts the wedge. A finger applied to the switch arm causes the wedge feed mechanism to slide forward under the moulding, to the other pre-set positions.

Minigraf 4 takes mouldings up to 125mm wide and 80mm tall.

ALFA MINIGRAF MP MULTI-CHANNEL UNDERPINNER

The Minigraf MP Multi-Channel has five separate wedge channels. In the same operating cycle, the operator can now insert or stack different wedge heights in different locations.

The state-of-the-art memory programme function allows users to store up to 1400 different programmes, which can also be downloaded from a PC. Once this information is set and loaded, the next time that moulding is used, the operator selects the appropriate moulding settings using the keypad or a barcode reader.

The MP has no equal for speed and efficiency - it inserts two different wedges in two different positions 30mm apart in just 2 seconds. That is around 3 quality frames per minute, or 200 per hour. For maximum speed of production, the operator can fill all five channels with the same size of wedge - that's around 1000 wedges until you next have to re-load.

The MP works with mouldings from 10mm to 100mm wide. It takes all standard sizes of 'PTM' wedges. 130kg. Needs electric and air supply.

Inmes IM-3P Air Operated Underpinner

IM-3 underpinners feature a cast and precision machined top table. It uses a solid steel insertion hammer for long life. Inmes Type UNI wedges 5mm, 7mm 10mm, 12mm & 15mm are placed into interchangeable loaders. The sturdy steel stand has the top table at 900mm, so you can work with it pushed up to your workbench.

The moulding table has slots to store the metal loaders.

Inmes IM-3 underpinners come in two versions, foot-operated and air-operated. Both feature:

• Take mouldings up to 120mm wide and 80mm tall.
• Two position moulding guide.

The Minigraf M3 is an air-operated bench top underpinner.

To use, set the front and back stops, in the adjustable guide. The unique feature of the M3 is the flat air clamp, which locks the mouldings at any chosen position. Operation is by a pneumatic foot switch.

Max moulding height, 80mm, max moulding width 80mm. Operating pressure, 3-6 bar, consuming 3,5 Nl at 5 Bar.

ALFA MINIGRAF M144 Underpinner & Stand

Pneumatic Underpinner

The MINIGRAF M144 is a high quality pneumatic underpinner for bespoke framers specially designed for joining mouldings up to 200mm wide and up to 80mm tall.

It is operated using the foot switch and the handle on the insertion head with a two-stage button. The head is moved between two adjustable pre-set stops.

Operating the foot switch locks the rebate clamp. First stage pressure on the button brings down the top clamp and locks the insertion head in place.

Second stage pressure on the button inserts a wedge. Partly releasing and re-pressing the button allows you to stack wedges. You can insert wedges at the pre-set positions or at any point in between.

Improved model features easy adjustment for different wedge heights.

A unique feature of the improved 44 is the pneumatic balancing of the wedge insertion mechanism, to make it easy to use the machine tilted (with the optional table extensions).
