The Inmes IM-5P is an air powered underpinner which is ideal for busy bespoke and smaller contract framing workshops. The IM-5P works with almost all mouldings and especially well with wide, complex or harder wood profiles.

• Uses high quality INMES Type UNI v-nails.

• Joins wood and polymer mouldings up to 152mm wide and 125mm tall. Maximum spacing between v-nails is 152mm.

• Unique rotary adjuster for different v-nail heights - no need to fiddle with v-nail blocks and hex keys.

• Squeeze adjust twin top pressure pads with hydraulic link. Great for larger and more complex profiles.

• Top pressure pads pulled down with twin air pistons. This system gives maximum stability, particularly when joining harder woods.

• Moulding stays clamped in fixed position during entire joining cycle.

• V-nail insertion block moves manually between two adjustable pre-set positions. Auto lock, so v-nails can be stacked in taller mouldings

• Pneumatic pressure for top pressure pads, rebate clamp and v-nail insertion can all be adjusted separately, to suit hardness of wood and delicacy of profile.
