D-Ring, Hanger & Hinge Fixing Machine

The WUN-PUL machine is made specifically to meet the needs of medium volume framers. It can be used to:
• rivet one hole D-Rings to backing boards using the appropriate head and base plate.
• install self-fix strut hinges for strut backs.
• attach self-fix hangers to backing boards.

The 'dumb end' allows different heads for different components to be fitted, simply by loosening a socket screw. This also allows you to rotate the head. The upper part is on a fine thread and by loosening another socket screw, this turns, allowing you to make very fine changes to the final pressure applied by the machine. Fine adjustment is critical to achieve optimum penetration and holding power of 'starburst' type self-fixings. It can exert 2 tonnes of pressure when applying a component.

The WUN-PUL has a 140mm throat and a 560mm wide steel positioning table.

The adjustable L-locator, 3020, and a Back Locator Gauge, 3173, ensure that you can position the workpiece accurately.

WUN-PUL is a piece of 'factory' equipment, and you may have to spend time adapting it to your individual production techniques. Works best when bolted to a workbench.

Moving parts should be lubricated regularly.

Individual heads are available to allow you to fit many components made by AMS, Apple Hinge, Inmes, Craft Inc. as well as for fixing our standard D-rings with self-piercing rivets.
