DESIGNER II Glass Cutter Brass - Wide Head

The FLETCHER Gold Tip Designer II fluid filled glass cutters have either a solid brass contoured handle with tapping ball or a clear plastic handle. Each has a precision tungsten carbide wheel. You can fit your choice of replacement cutting head for curved cuts.

Incorporated into the handles is the Fiberlock anti-leak cutting fluid dispensing system. It lays down a fine bead of fluid for smooth flake-free cuts on all glass.

Each Designer II head cuts in a fixed (locked pin) position or a simple half-turn will place the head in a swivel position. The head, wheel slot and ball bearing axle are hardened to minimise wear.

Designer II is designed to work with the environmentally friendly cutting fluid, ENVIROGOLD.

Lion GLASS CUTTING FLUID 250ml

Cutting fluid reduces wear on the cutting wheel and axle. It helps easy scoring and clean breaking. It retains the glass particles, flushing them away from the wheel and axle. It is water soluble and environmentally harmless.

Suitable for ALL glass cutters - either fill the reservoir in the handle, or stand your 'dry' cutter in a jar with an oil soaked pad. 250ml

SHAW TW-920B OIL FILLED T/C GLASS CUTTER

Super hard precision ground tungsten carbide wheel, coated in titanium.

The handle is turned from solid brass, and contains the oil reservoir, which feeds to the cutting wheel through a wick. It has a wide head which swivels. The swivel is lightly spring loaded to make for smooth cutting.

SILBERSCHNITT 4000 OIL GLASS CUTTER - Wide head

Very fine German made glass cutter. The long life hard 4mm tungsten carbide wheel is ground to 135°, is ideal for thin glass. It runs on a precision axle. The wide fixed head makes it ideal for straight cutting.

A transparent fluid reservoir in the handle feeds a pressure-regulated flow control system. Works best with the special oil.

This tool cuts glass ovals 113mm to 600mm and glass circles from 113mm to 525mm dia.

Maximum differential is 75mm / 3".

Base has a rubber 'sucker' which locks it in position by turning a knurled disc.
