LOGAN 301-1 Compact Classic Mount Cutter

A rigid baseboard with a spring hinged aluminium running rail. The bevel-cut and straight-cut heads fit onto that rail.

Measuring and marking are made simple with a parallel adjustable back gauge, with scale and lock. An engraved guide line on the bevel cutting head tells you precisely when you have reached the start and stop lines, which you mark with a pencil.

A mount cutter for the semi-professional. Includes '2000' bevel head and straight cutting head.

Working length: 750mm / 29½".

The new Compact 350-1 Elite, 7501, includes a squaring measuring arm.

Uses '270' blades.

LOGAN 500 MAT KNIFE

Positive depth control ensures that you don't go too deep into the undersheet. Blade locks away when not in use. Glides along any straight edge. Not suitable for left handed people. Uses '270' blades.

LOGAN `201' 3-Step OVAL & CIRCLE MOUNT CUTTER

Base has small sharp pins underneath, to locate it on a centring cross you draw on the mountboard. The oval size differential setting is locked with a thumb screw.

The 3-Step carries the cutting blade on a pivoted head with a little lever, supported on a small wheel.

You click the blade down one notch, and cut one turn. Then another notch and another turn, and so on.

Scales are metric and imperial. Uses '324' blades (Part no's. 3920 & 1749).

Ovals: 75mm x 115mm / 3" x 4½" to 508mm x 585mm / 20" x 23".
Circles: 110mm / 4½" to 508mm / 20" dia.

LOGAN 1500 FOAM BOARD CUTTER

Make square cuts or 45° bevel cuts on foamboard up to 5mm thick, simply by turning the tool over.

Adjustable blade location allows you to set it to the board thickness.

FLETCHER MAT-MATE OVAL/CIRCLE CUTTER

The M-1100 blade (Part no's. 2754 & 2974) is guided by a tracking guide wheel, and is raised and lowered into the cut with a finger lever. Start/stop marks are minimised by the tracking wheel.

Straight-cut head has three blade depth positions for mountboard and foamboard.

685mm right-hand squaring arm helps you measure and cut sheets of mountboard down to size. Parallel back mat guide allows you to set accurate border widths.

Twin adjustable stops mean that you don't always need to mark mounts with pencil before cutting. The baseboard has a durable grey laminate surface.

You can cut Jumbo size mountboard by simply removing the right hand squaring arm in order to feed your full sheet of board along the base. It is best to mark your mount first. Logan 301-S & 450 cutters can also be used in this way.

Aluminium base with the blade held on a sliding holder. This allows you to push the blade into the board at the correct angle, so minimising 'hooking' at the start of a cut.

The cutting tip of the blade is not visible, but guide marks on the holder indicate start and stop positions for the cut.

LOGAN 450-1 Artist Elite Mount Cutter

The Logan 450-1 Artist Elite is designed for artists, photographers and small framing workshops. It is a fully featured cutter, built onto a sturdy vinyl covered fibreboard base.

Straight and bevel cutting heads hook onto the hinged Guide Rail. A pre-set 90° squaring bar holds board square and stops it slipping when being cut.

The parallel back gauge allows border widths up to 100mm / 4". The Straight Cutting Head, essential for cutting mountboard to size before the window is cut, has three blade depth settings and a large, ergonomic handle.

Bevel cutting head, #5000, has a pivoted blade holder, guilding the blade through the precision cut patented slot in the base to minimise 'hooking' at the start of the cut.
