Smooth, pre-coated, heat-activated board. It is safe to use, with minimal risk to the artwork. Operates at a low 82° / 180° F.

Encore Foam Centre Boards

Polystyrene foam core sandwiched between face papers. Encore offers you a choice of face papers; Standard, Acid-Free or 100% Cotton Rag. Many are double clay-coated for extra smoothness.

To speed the de-gassing after extrusion, the foam in big loose rolls, is parked for a few days in a special warehouse with forced air ventilation.
This means that unlike some other brands, minimal vapour residues remain in the foam when the face papers are laminated to it. Free of CFC's and Formaldehyde.
