Maxit Hot Melt Adhesive System 24" / 622mm

Maxit adhesive system uses a heated motorised roller coater which applies a very thin coating of the specially formulated hot-melt adhesive. The coating can be applied to most paper and thin card materials.

The Maxit adhesive works well with non-porous substrates such as acrylics and aluminium composite panels.

Once the paper is coated, it is ready to be laid onto a mounting board and passed through a pressure roller when it will bond and stay bonded permanently.

The special adhesive will not lose its tack when it cools so mounting does not have to be immediate. The adhesive is non-sticky. It is completely Non-Hazardous and Non Toxic.

A Maxit machine is warm when running. It is a low heat which will not affect inkjet prints.

The hot-melt adhesive is supplied in bags which can be added straight to the bath, bag included. Typical glue cost 50p per sq. mt.

The Maxit system is simple and requires minimal daily maintenance.

To see the Maxit working, visit our demo area in Birmingham. Alternatively, send us a print that you want mounting. We'll coat it and return it for you to examine and test mount through your own roller.

3 kg adhesive coats over 100 sq. mt.

FOAM BLANKET 5mm 2300mm x 1650mm

For flat bed and vacuum.

Many boards are made up of pulp, which has tiny hills. The pressure of a hard platen may shine the peaks. Foam helps even out the pressure and minimise this effect. Foam also presses laminating film into the weave of canvas to enhance canvas texture.

5mm thick, best for work in vacuum presses, where its lower volume will not slow cycle.

13mm thick, best for canvas bonding and heat sealing in flat bed presses.

5mm thick, 2300 x 1650mm.
