MAGIK WAND Cordless Shrink Wrapper - Base Heater UnitThe unique
Magik Wand Sealing Arm, 3648, is not connected to the base unit, so you can manoeuvre it any way you need on the bench.
It allows you to apply clear shrink-film protection to frames, mounted prints and posters on board.
The steel base
Heater Unit, 3649, has a mains voltage heating element inside. When the
Magik Wand is placed into it, it heats up. Wand stays hot more than long enough to seal a pack both ways, before it is returned to the base unit, where it quickly re-heats.
Magik Wand base heater unit takes
610mm / 24" and
785mm / 31" Wands. It has an adjustable temperature control.
Adjust the heating temperature to achieve a fine balance between sealing and cutting. It can take a little while to achieve this.
The rugged steel
Film Roller Dispenser, 3451, with separator bar is 510mm / 20" wide, and takes film up to 762mm / 30". Carries the weight of a 600m roll of shrink film.
The essential
Silicone Foam, 3423, underlay for sealing is positioned on any flat surface.
Efficiency is increased if you place two pieces in an 'L' layout.
Apply an occasional thin film of silicone grease to sealing edge of Wand.
You will need a
hot air gun, 425.
Magik Wand is made in the UK, engineered to ISO 9002 and carries the CE mark. It requires a 240v, 5 amp supply.
