About Lion
Based in Birmingham, UK, Lion was founded in 1977 by Martin &
Margaret Harrold. We supply picture framing materials and equipment
to professional picture framers, photographers, galleries and trade
resellers worldwide. Our three catalogues give details of our
extensive ranges:
Lion Trade Catalogue No.49:
Framing hardware, equipment, tools, mountboard and stretcher
bars.
Lion Mouldings, Edition 14:
An extensive range of over 900 finished wood, bare wood, Minerva
quality polymer and aluminium frame mouldings.
Lion Fine Print Edition 15:
Printers, inks, media and coatings for inkjet printing. Acrylic
frames and flat panel graphics components. Art hanging and
display systems.

Lion are leading distributors for respected brands including
Keencut, Fletcher,
Danlist, Alfamacchine and
Inmes. We also have a growing range of our own
Lion branded products; many are our own concept
and design and are all manufactured to our high specification -
please see the enclosed sheet for more details.
Because these products are exclusive to Lion, the prices we can
offer resellers are very competitive.
General
information
• Lion supply end-user framers as well as distributors.
• We can prepare quotations with special prices for volume
consignments
• We can provide samples of small items, for you to try.
• You will see that some items in our catalogues have the LION
logo in the caption. These items are unique to us and we can often
quote special prices on them.
• Special Express prices on major brands of framing equipment are
updated monthly. See enclosed Lion Express leaflet.
• Minimum order for sales within the EU is £130/k150 and £300 for
sales to non-EU countries.

the home page, click on "Export services". We are happy to obtain
quotations for transportation on your behalf.
• Payment: by bank transfer or credit card in GBP or EUR for
initial orders. Credit account facilities may be offered after
successful application and verification by our accounts
department.
• Invoices can be issued in GBP or EUR.
Transport
Transport of your goods is normally charged at cost. Some examples
of freight costs from Birmingham, UK, are listed here. We do not arrange insurance
unless specifically requested by a customer in writing. The goods
are your responsibility after they leave our warehouse.
Stockists
For many countries we list details of our stockists who may be
able to supply you with some items from our range. These are not
exclusive stockists and are not in any way part of LION. None stock
our full range. We welcome enquiries from stockists in areas where
we are not yet represented.
