Satin Coat 500ml

SATIN COAT for Inkjet Canvases
The perfect finish for the perfect picture.

Our SATIN COAT canvas coating protects, preserves and enhances fine art and photographic images produced on inkjet printers.

SATIN COAT offers protection from damaging UV light, reducing the effect it can have on optical brightener additives and other fluorescent whitening additives in the canvas or the coating. This helps reduce the degree of 'yellowing'.

SATIN COAT is a completely transparent acrylic varnish which gives a satin smooth, natural looking finish to the art. It seals the inkjet receiving coating and enhances the colours, keeping them fresh. Once coated, the printed canvas becomes resistant to airborne moisture, finger marks, scratching and abrasion. It can be wiped with a damp cloth to clean it. Coating canvas after printing is a must. Altough some printer and inkjet canvas manufacturers claim that their products do not require coating, we strongly advise that most canvases be given this protection.

SATIN COAT is developed especially to avoid problems with leaving roller marks and stripes in the coating process.

SATIN COAT comes ready to use, in a squeezy bottle. Dispense as required with minimum risk of dust and dirt. Apply before the canvas is stretched with a sponge brush, roller or with HVLP sprayer. It dries in 5 - 10 minutes and is wash-up with water.

Always store and work all acrylic coatings at room temperature, approx 20° C. Do not allow container to freeze.
