Canon iPF9100 60" & iPF8100 44" Twelve CartridgeThe
60" iPF9100 and the
44" iPF8100 produce high quality fine art prints at 10m² / hour. The residual ink tanks enable the user to change ink tanks during printing without stopping and ensure every ml of ink is used.
Canon 'Remote User Interface' (RUI) enables users to monitor a printer from any networked computer. The RUI diplays: printer status, current ink levels, media type loaded, media size, remaining roll length, maintenance tank capacity & print log.
In addition to the print log, a report of the ink consumption per job is also displayed enabling the customer to calculate the exact cost of each job printed.
The 80GB hard disk drive offers higher productivity, greater reliability and improved printing efficiency through the storage of print job data. The jobs are sent direct to the hard disk from the computer, which clears the task quickly and improves network efficiency.
Both supplied complete with stand and 330ml starter cartridges, the
iPF9100 also comes with a take-up roller. Ink cartridges are available in 330ml and 700ml,
see left, and can be used in any combination.
Canon iPF Wide-Format Printers for Fine ArtCanon's
PROGRAF wide-format printers achieve top quality image output with high print speed, making them superb choice for fine art printing.
• 30,720 nozzles in the twin 27mm print heads deliver the 12-colour
Canon Lucia pigment inks quickly and accurately. These heads are designed to be permanent and last the lifetime of the printer. Covered by their own 12 month warranty, they can be replaced by the user if ever required. Canon's additional Red, Green and Blue inks contribute to the widest colour gamut in the fine art market.
• Grey and Photo Grey inks ensure superb colour gradation and reduced granularity for stunning black and white output. Matte and Photo Black are permanently installed, which negates the need to swap between inks and reduces ink waste.
• Average cost per print is kept low by the unique head cleaning technology; the printer automatically checks the nozzles periodically; if it detects a blockage, it will unblock that particular nozzle rather than cleaning the entire head, which reduces your ink cost. Test prints are rarely required.
• A quieter fan is used with a mist fan exhaust vent. Sound absorbing material reduces the noise of the printer.
• The Mac and PC versions of the
Canon PhotoShop Plug-In provided free with Canon printers enhance the already impressive output. Using the conventional File/Print method only ever results in 8 bit output; professionals using 16 bit images in PhotoShop can now output at top quality up to 12 bit using the free Plug-In. The improvements are astounding!
