It is our policy to offer as many FSC® certified mouldings as we
can. From fairly modest beginnings in 2008, over half of our wood
mouldings are now FSC certified. They are all made especially for
us by some of the leading UK and European moulding manufacturers
with no compromise to style, quality or price.
It's easy to mak claims about how environmentally friendly and
aware you are; for any such claims to be valid though, they need to
be substantiated. We chose to use FSC certification because we
believe it to be the most rigorous and credible of the
international certification schemes that exist. Thanks to its
levels of consumer recognition and the high standards to which it
works, FSC is endorsed by major environmental charities including
Greenpeace, the Woodland Trust and WWF. It is also the standard
recognised and requested by many retailers, and professional
specifiers and purchasers of wood products.
FSC Certification revolves around their Chain of Custody scheme.
This is where every supplier in the chain, from forest owner to
