'Picture Framing - Beyond The Basics' November 14

A one-day course with Roy Rowlands GCF, for people who have been framing for profit for six months or more.

The agenda includes frame design - proportions, colours and balance, as well as washlines, float mounting and object box framing. Mountcutting, including v-grooves, embossed and offset styles, will also be featured. Conservation framing, and premium glass, will be discussed.

You are invited to bring along one or two items which you have framed, for constructive comment. If you are attending the course in anticipation of taking your FATG GCF examination, then please tick the box on the application form. Limited to around five people. You will receive a Certificate of Attendance. Held in Birmingham.

The framing training courses at Lion are supported by Colourmount. The mountboards used in the demonstrations and hands-on training are all Colourmount Conservation.

Each attendee receives a pack which includes a mountboard selector and a set of chevron corners.
