Minerva Select is our original Minerva range of premium polymer mouldings. It is specially made for us to the highest specifications using a specially formulated core mix and premium quality foils for the finishes.

Special Mix
The foamed core of Minerva Select is made from a special mix of ‘Grade A’ re-cycled polystyrene and a minimum of 25% virgin material. Special additives are added to give the perfect balance of elasticity and rigidity. This allows you to cut the moulding without it cracking and join with perfect mitres, but with the rigidity necessary for a picture frame moulding. The outer skin is always virgin polymer. This creates the very smooth and hard surface onto which the hot foils are applied.

Design & Finish
The core quality of Minerva Select is matched by stylish and desirable finishes that customers will want to buy. Advanced and innovative production techniques allow the designers and manufacturers to create mouldings that not only offer consistent quality on plain finishes, but also to create mouldings with combinations of different foils and with textures embossed into the surface.

Quality Control
As well as visual checks, a rigorous quantitative quality control procedure carefully monitors the product mix, the speed of extrusion, and the weight of the mouldings. This ensures the very best quality is achieved and maintained throughout the production process.

Packaging
To help keep Minerva Select in pristine condition, all lengths are individually shrink wrapped. All Minerva Select lengths are 2.87m.
