Pneumatic Underpinner

The MINIGRAF M144 is a high quality pneumatic underpinner for bespoke framers specially designed for joining mouldings up to 200mm wide and up to 80mm tall.

It is operated using the foot switch and the handle on the insertion head with a two-stage button. The head is moved between two adjustable pre-set stops.

Operating the foot switch locks the rebate clamp. First stage pressure on the button brings down the top clamp and locks the insertion head in place.

Second stage pressure on the button inserts a wedge. Partly releasing and re-pressing the button allows you to stack wedges. You can insert wedges at the pre-set positions or at any point in between.

Improved model features easy adjustment for different wedge heights.

A unique feature of the improved 44 is the pneumatic balancing of the wedge insertion mechanism, to make it easy to use the machine tilted (with the optional table extensions).
