KIMBERLEY Mitre Vice / Underpinner

The Kimberley is the ideal manual underpinner for high-quality, low volume framing. Your mitred mouldings are clamped individually in the smooth faced jaws and can be adjusted for perfect alignment.

The pressure head with adjustable pressure pad is adjusted both ways to perfectly suit the moulding. Then, the appropriate height of wedge, typically 2/3 the height of the moulding, is placed, sharp edge up, on the magnetic feed and slid into place. The clever design means that this is always exactly under the pressure pad. Firm pressure on the lever lets you squeeze the wedge up into the moulding.

The Kimberley takes mouldings up to 75mm wide and 48mm tall. Taller mouldings up to 70mm can be accommodated with the triangular aluminium plate supplied. It weighs 10.5kg and can easily be stored in a cupboard. Full instructions included.
