2CV TEAM LION FIGHTS BACK IN THE 24 HOUR AT SNETTERTON

Team car 79 started from pole after a blistering qualifying lap and the other started from third. For the first few hours, they both ran in the tight leading group, which with all their different coloured marker lights was very eye catching as they raced into the night. In the darkness both our cars suffered technical issues and drifted down the field. However, once fixed, the drivers of 97 drove it very skilfully and snatched 3rd place 20 minutes before the finish. In doing so, lead driver Pete Sparrow took his 8th Championship win. Car 79 came home 12th after being delayed for longer.
