7514 Newly Panel Hanging and Stabilising Kit

A set of four chunky brackets to help hang large and/or heavy panels, 7mm+ thick, from a hanging rail.

+ Hang panels up to 30kg and to any reasonable size

Each bracket is triangular in format, 45mm base and 45mm tall. They are 30mm deep, with white plastic bumpers. The steel is 2mm thick and screw holes are 4.9mm.

Kit contains two matched pairs of brackets. Brackets to be fixed to the bottom of the panel have a push-to-adjust fixing to take 2mm cable suspenders. Brackets to be fixed at the top have a slot to guide the cable and hold the panel close. Ensure that your panel is at least 8mm thick. If not, you could bond flat strips of wood to the back of the panel to add thickness and rigidity.

Check that the hanging rail is suitably strong and firmly fixed. Bare steel suspenders can take a bigger load than plastic coated. Typically, a pair should take up to 30kgs, but this has not yet been tested.
