Established in 1977 by Martin & Margaret Harrold, LION stock and supply picture frame mouldings, mountboard, materials, equipment and hanging systems to professional picture framers and galleries.

You can order from us for delivery throughout the UK and worldwide or visit our trade counters in Birmingham and in Hayes, Middx.

About Us

LION Picture Framing Supplies Ltd was founded in Birmingham, UK, in 1977 where we still have our main warehouse.

We stock and supply picture frame mouldings, mountboard, materials, equipment and display / hanging systems to professional picture framers, photographers and galleries.

Over 50 staff handle your enquiries and orders, process and despatch them. All of our staff take great pride in offering our customers a very high level of service, technical advice and support.

LION has a branch warehouse, LION South, at Hayes near Heathrow which stocks the majority of our mouldings and sundries ranges, as well as Colourmount, Peterboro and Value mountboards.

LION in Birmingham: Open Mon - Fri, 9-5

You can select and take away your requirements, including 'collection only' items such as closed corner frames, glass and single sheets of backing boards. Once you're back in your workshop you can place your orders for despatch with the extra confidence that comes from familiarity.

Branch Manager Michael Marsh and his team will offer you a warm welcome and help you make your selections. They will also give you more information about the regional van delivery service operated from Lion South. Parking is easy and there is free tea and coffee available.
