Hot melt glue bonds well to many of the materials used in framing, particle board, MDF, laminate, foam, papers, mountboard and packaging boards. It's also very good on fabrics.  

This makes it a handy adhesive in a framing workshop. The Tacwise 12v re-chargeable hot melt gun has no wires or cables to trip over.
