Cutting Mat

Whenever cutting or trimming paper or film, it is always best to use a cutting mat. The slightly soft but firm surface of the cutting mat protects the tip of the blade and makes it last longer. The smooth, clean, surface is nice to work on and is ideal when trimming prints. Small cuts almost disappear and the mats are normally double sided so will last a long time.

Rhino cutting mats are premium quality and two-sided with excellent self healing properties. They are manufactured from recycled materials with sustainability in mind. The large 1800mm x 900mm mat features a rugged multi-layer construction. Measurements are in both metric and imperial with the green side in inches, grey side in cm. A cutting mat is a movable surface that is used to cut various materials such as mountboard. Cutting mats protect the framing work bench and also the blades in use. It is rather self-explanatory, it is a protective workbench layer for use when cutting mount board and other sheet materials by hand.
