Does your order contain wood moulding? Read more to understand how we invoice variable length products and why the final amount charged may be higher than the provisional total shown at checkout.
Wood moulding is a variable length product - even within the same batch lengths can vary between 2.5m and 3m. When you order we ask you to enter the number of metres you want, which we will round up to the nearest whole length - we can't send you less than full lengths.
This means you will often get slightly more than you ordered, ensuring you'll have enough moulding to complete the job. Because your moulding order may be rounded up, the order total you see is provisional - you will always be invoiced for the exact amount we send you.
When you provide your card details at checkout, you are giving us consent to charge your card with the provisional total plus an additional amount to cover any rounding up that may be necessary.
If your order does not contain wood moulding then there will be no variable length products, and we will not make an additional charge upon invoice.
