Daler Mount Board
Daler Rowney mountboard is manufactured in the UK to Fine Art Trade Guild Mountboard Quality Standards. The range includes Conservation, White Core and Standard boards. Their mountboards are manufactured using wood pulp from managed forest estates in Europe. These estates harvest and replant trees specifically for paper production and annually plant more trees than are felled.
All boards meet the stringent quality specifications of the Fine Art Trade Guild (FATG) and are available in a variety of cores to support a wide range of needs, from the most basic presentation to the framing of valuable works of art.
Daler have been producing a very wide range of quality mountboards in the UK for many years. Careful selection of all the materials and digital control of the manufacturing process ensures that all mountboards in their range are of the highest quality.
Their mount board has four grades; Conservation, White Core, Cream Core, and Black Core.
Conservation has face papers that are acid-free, colourfast, resilient and bleed-resistant. Daler conservation boards are lignin-free with no optical brighteners.
White Core mountboards have a pure white core, giving a clean and crisp bevel cut. They are lignin-free, alkaline-sized and pH neutral.
Cream Core mount board is manufactured with virgin wood pulp, giving a characteristic pale ivory colour. Choose from over 100 colours and textures.
Black Core gives a distinctive bevel cut, exposing the deep carbon black core.
