CB801 ColourMount Bevel Wrapping Tape Ivory roll 48mm x 25m

Part a range of five self-adhesive coloured bevel wrapping tapes from ColourMount. They help framers enhance the quality of their mounts by creating a second, thicker, bevel below the face mount. That can be of a toning or contrasting colour.

The colours exactly match five of the most popular ColourMount mountboard colours. In rolls 48mm x 25m.

The technique uses strips of mountboard or foamboard, cut to suit the width of the face mount border with a bevel cut along one edge. The bevel is then wrapped. The strips are fitted around the bevel window of the face mount and glued to the underside of the face mount.

Working with self-adhesive materials in cold weather? When the temperature drops remember to let self-adhesive tapes, PVA glues, boards and mounting films come up to room temperature before using them. Keep them that way for a few hours after application while the adhesives cure.
