6495 Tension Cable Kit 1.5mm Steel Cable 4m Length

Ideal for fixing, floor to ceiling, in a display window. Framed art can be displayed and easily changed using clamp-on cable hooks.

Starter kit contains 4m of 1.5mm dia steel cable and two single-screw end fixings. Single screw end fixings are polished chrome finish. Top fixing is solid. Bottom fixing is adjustable and has a tensioning spring. Both are fixed with one screw. Sometimes, it helps to use the Fixing Track where surfaces are uneven or not sound.

Cable Display Systems:

Such systems use 1.5mm steel cables held in tension between ceiling and floor. Typically, acrylic poster holders are secured between pairs of cables and a printed poster slipped in. A common application is in estate agents windows.

In a gallery window, display of promotional posters can be mixed with display of mounted and framed artwork. They can also be used in all sorts of showroom and display situations. The display can be double sided, facing both out to passers-by in the street and inside to customers browsing.
