7515 SE100 Metal Strut Fixing Press

The unique SH-100 Metal Strut System lets you quickly make up MDF strut backs for smaller frames. It means that you can use any of your mouldings to quickly make up ready-made frames with stand backs.

The patented bendable steel strut press-fixes to an MDF or fibre backing board. The strut is laid sharp side up onto the locating spring pins. The backing board is laid into the adjustable guide. One pull on the lever and the strut is pressed and locked firmly to the board. The struts come in two lengths.

Strut stays flat on the board until required for use. Then user simply bends it up and adjusts until the frame stands at the desired angle.

The unique design and material of the bendable strut means it stays where it is when bent and works over a wide range of angles. It is designed so that it can normally be bent and re-bent up to 30 times without failure.

Struts can be used as they are. Or, moulded plastic tips in black, red and grey are an option to protect surfaces. These clip together through the hole in the strut.

The SH 100 machine comes complete and ready to fix the steel struts. Hand operated - no electricity or air supply required. Made in Italy by Alfamacchine. This product was previously known as the Pozzi PG-28.

The press-fix steel struts can also be fixed to backing board using the Alfamacchine SH 200 multi-purpose fixing machine, 9554, fitted with the Locator Disc kit 9561.
