Acid-free 5mm rigid foam board with heat-activated dry mount adhesive coating

Prints for specialised signs, presentations and displays are often better mounted on this 5mm rigid foam board. The special heat-activated adhesive bonds paper and thin card quickly at low temperatures.

Works with most heated vacuum and flat-bed presses. Used for general mounting work in picture framing workshops, display studios and similar.

+ Face has extra smooth white paper liner coated with heat-activated dry adhesive, pH neutral for long life. Bonding requires a short dwell time of around 20 - 30 seconds.

+ Core is white polystyrene foam

+ Back has smooth white paper liner

+ Thickness: 5.0mm. Sheet size: 1020mm x 810mm

+ Adhesive has low bonding temperatures around 65°C - 70°C to help minimise rippling of the paper and discoloration of inks. 

+ Kool Tack is reversible and can be re-used up to three times with care. This gives peace of mind and can reduce wastage should errors occur

+ The adhesive face has minimal tack at room temperature, helping to minimise dust on the surface. Kool Tack boards should be stored flat, covered, at room temperature and average humidity.

+ Easy to cut to size with a blade cutter
