Positioned as the top-tier mountcutter in the Logan range, it allows users to cut mounts quicker and serves as a stepping stone towards professional framing equipment.

The cutting head glides smoothly on ball bearings along the profiled guide rail. On one side is the bevel cutting head, on the other is the vertical cut head. Both are pull style.

The whole guide rail and head assembly is hinged onto an 18mm MDF baseboard.

The sliding production stop system is crucial for saving time and overall accuracy. Two quick change squaring arms are included, 230mm / 9″, scaled, and 810mm / 32”, un-scaled, to help position and square the mountboard.

The bevel cutting head blade depth can be adjusted for boards from 1.2mm to 3.0mm (4 ply to 8 ply). Sliding start and stop indicators and adjustable production stops make the Framers Edge very easy to use. The parallel back mount guide is simple to adjust.

The bevel and vertical cuts use Logan #268D and #268SE blades. These are thicker than the #270 blades, at 0.015”. The #268SE blade is designed for 3.0mm  thick and harder boards.

The baseboard of #650-1 is 1220mm long overall. Made in USA.
