This is based on the Knipex patented double-geared hand pliers. Most of the jaw material has been ground away, leaving just a very small ‘birds mouth’.

This is placed over the crimp and the long handles and double-geared action apply huge pressure with ease, giving a very smooth and secure crimp.

The price is high, as they are individually made. But it is the tool for the job.
