When applying finishing waxes always do a test area before starting any project, to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times. The following steps outline how to apply Liberon Black Bison Wax to bare wood. Firstly, smooth moulding with Liberon Fine Steel Wool or plastic abrasive pad then apply Liberon Black Bison Wax sparingly with a lint-free cloth on a delicate or French polished surface. Allow to dry for 20 minutes, or until touch dry, and then buff with a clean cloth or furniture brush. If further coats are required, follow the above steps then wipe off any excess. Liberon recommend to apply a minimum of two coats on new or very dry wood. Build-up to the desired level of sheen by applying thin coats of wax, buffing between coats. For best results, buff with a suitable buffing brush, once the last coat has dried.
