Decorative Tapes
A wide range of self adhesive decorative tapes from ColourMount. Picture framers can enhance the quality of their mounts by creating a second, thicker, bevel below the face mount. Decorative tapes can be of a toning or contrasting colour. The technique of creating a bespoke bevel uses strips of mountboard or foamboard that are cut to suit the width of the face mount border with a bevel cut along one edge. The bevel is then wrapped with a decorative tape. The strips of mountboard or foamboard are fitted around the bevel window of the face mount and glued to the underside of the face mount.
