Chestnut
Spirit based wood stains from Chestnut are lightfast, quick drying and penetrate well. With Chestnut Spirit Stains you do not get patches missed where there may be a slight smear of grease on the wood. Spirit stains do not raise the grain, so smoothing and finishing is quicker than alternatve finishes. The typical use is to colour the bare wood surface prior to finishing.
