Cassetta style profile

This profile is available in various finishes as part of the St Ives range.

Oak species: American White Oak – a somewhat misleading name as this oak features a distinct and attractive brown grain pattern. It easily accepts stains and finishes.

Cutting & joining: Oak is one of the hardest woods and even with professional framing equipment it can be tricky to get a great join - so we recommend ordering on our Chop + Routing Service. You'll receive the frame precision cut to size with routed slots in each mitred face - simply hammer in the supplied dovetail keys to pull the corner tightly together.

Finishing: Give Oak a beautiful finish with neutral or coloured waxes or light stains. Limed and patina effect waxes are very effective. Take a look at our wide range of finishing products.
