Safety assured: Disc Plate Hangers give a permanent bond of great strength to glazed and unglazed surfaces. The bond will not ‘age-harden’ nor deteriorate with time. It is unaffected by any normal household extremes of temperature or humidity. Tested and proven over 65 years.

Easy removal: The bond of Disc Hangers is removed completely by soaking in warm water. Back stamp and other markings are undisturbed, yet no adhesive residue is left.

How to use: Designed to work on smooth and clean ceramic surfaces. Use the largest possible disc hanger which fits the flat area of the plate. The hangers can be trimmed with scissors.

Old plates can acquire a layer of dust, atmospheric pollution and airborne grease over time. This must be scrubbed clean with soap and water. Try not to use detergent as most contain surfactants. Finally, wipe the surface with a strong solvent like methylated sprits which removes any trace of grease and surfactants.

Wet the hanger disc thoroughly in a saucer of clean water and rub lightly with finger to activate the adhesive. Apply to the plate and let dry overnight, then check that the bond is secure before hanging the plate on a suitable hook or screw on the wall.

Disc Hangers will also stick well to foamboard panels to hang them on picture hooks. The large contact area spreads the loading and reduces the risk of delamination.
