Air operated underpinner designed for easy stacking of v-nails in taller mouldings

Expertly engineered in Italy by Alfamacchine, the thoughtful design and very high build quality delivers professional results with ease.

Includes full boxes of 7mm, 10mm & 12mm v-nails.

Double Piston Top Clamping Mechanism 

Evenly distributes pressure, particularly helpful for working with hard woods. 

Front Clamping Mechanism 

Holds moulding tightly against fences during joining.

Tall, Adjustable Back Fences 

For great support on taller mouldings.

Unique V-Nail Carriage Clamping Mechanism 

Locks the v-nail insertion position for easy stacking of v-nails in taller moulding. Allows mouldings up to 60mm wide and 80mm tall to be joined with ease.  

Spring Loaded Pull Pin Mechanism 

Quickly adjust the top clamp to suit the height of the moulding. This makes it easy to set the machine to different moulding profiles, reducing the capacity for error.  

Dual Function Foot Pedal 

For separate control of the clamping and insertion mechanisms, allowing you to check the join before inserting the v-nails. You will need a 24L compressor, 10586, for bespoke framing or a 50L compressor, 10587, for higher volume workshops - plus an airline kit, 10589. Contact us for advice.  

Bench Top Design 

Allows you to build a bench round the machine to support your frames and optimise workshop layout. Alternatively the optional Tilting Stand, 7059, allows the U300 to stand alone - for best results, we recommend adding the optional U300 Moulding Support Wings, 3844A. 

Unique Power Twist V-Nail Driver Assembly  

Provides trouble-free operation up to 1 million cycles. Switch between v-nail sizes in seconds. The U300 uses Alfamacchine’s Power Twist V Nails which have a patented tapered shape to pull the join tightly together. 7mm, 10mm & 12mm blocks supplied. 5mm & 15mm blocks also available.
